The conference will be held during the Adelaide Festival, immediately after the Australia Performing Arts Market. In 2008 the focus will be on Circus Artform Development.

We are planning to hold masterclasses with Australian and International Circus and Physical Theatre directors such as: Cal McCrystal, director of Spymonkey's internationally acclaimed "Cooped", as well as the clowning for Cirque Du Soleil's “Zumanity” and “Varekai”; Nigel Jamieson, Director for 2007 Green Room Award winning show, 'Honour Bound'.

Further Australian and international guests will be confirmed in the coming months. An additional focus will be Touring and Sustainability (discussing, among other things, how to tour your shows and grow your company). We will conduct discussions with international contemporary performance promoters such as John Lambert, producer for Cirque Eloize, and other Australian and international producers attending the Australian Performing Arts Market.

There will also be a day set aside specifically for Youth, Indigenous and Community Circus convened by Kathryn Montgomery.
