Final sounds so final, and I expect he’ll probably be back, but the last time the Red and Lascivious Bastard will perform in NY before his creator and inhabitor Eric Davis flies off to Hollywood to collaborate with Cirque du Soleil on a new and permanent show at the Kodak Theatre is next Tuesday at Dixon Place.

If you haven’t seen the Red Bastard, you’re in for a treat. He’s rude, lascivious, and somehow loveable. This is not a clown show, it’s a lessonplan on how to work the audience. As the poster says, “Something interesting has to happen every 10 seconds, and it does.”
