The Institute offers a 30 hour introduction to the clown arts training program, sometimes called "I Want To Be A Clown!" or "Clowning 101" or "An Introduction To The Performing Art of Clowning", as well as, the Capital Region Clown Arts Festival. The Festival offers a series of refresher, intermediate and advanced hands on workshops and training sessions for clown artists, as well as people interested in the art of clowning. The Festival also features some of the area's best clown artists presenting workshops on their favorite clown arts subjects. Subject matter includes Skits and Bits, Public Performing Skills, Balloon Sculpting, Face Painting, Juggling, Comedic Movement, and Humor Training.
