The Escola de Clown de Barcelona offers a comprehensive clown training programme covering both practical and theoretical aspects of the clown arts, and the opportunity of learning from guest practitioners with a variety of approaches to clowning. We also offer opportunities for research projects.

3-Month Clown Studies Course: For those who wish to study in depth. 20 hours of class per week, for 12 weeks, ranging from the search for one's personal clown to the creation of original performance. Work also covers: play, improvisation, failure, the fool, the trickster, clowning in theatre/street/circus, clown consciousness, hospital clowning and theoretical/historical studies.

Weekend Intensive Workshops: Visiting teachers and professionals concentrate in 12-hour two-day workshops on their specialist areas.

Evening classes: We offer classes in clown for those who wish to attend only a few hours per week.

Other Activities: lectures, symposia, film screenings, etc.
