International School of Dramatic Corporal Mime

Created in the year 2004, the International School of Dramatic Corporal mime, constitutes the training axis of the organization MOVEO was formed with four main objectives:
- To Form a new generation of physical theatre actors. Offering the necessary tools so that these actors can have the artistic and physical means to realize their ideas and projects.
All it through the teaching of the Dramatic Corporeal Mime as it was created by Etienne Decroux and developed by the ones who, for more than twenty years, continue the search of a new theater centered in the actor and his/her body as main mean of expression.
- To Teach, develop and continue promoting the study of dramatic corporal mime. To promote the diffusion of this art form through theatre training and the creation and production of shows.
- To investigate and seek new teaching methods for the physical theater actor in the school.
- To Create a training of base so that the student or the actor can join a professional physical theatre company (Moveo Teatro) or be able to develop its own projects.
Since its creation, the School has welcomed actors of more than twenty-seven different countries.
Thanks to study of a clear corporal technique , the interpretation of pieces created by Etienne Decroux, its assistants or the members of Moveo Teatro, the study of different techniques of improvisation and the creation of spectacles, the students of the school learn to control their corporal and scenic space, so that the body can be at the service of their imagination, be situated in the center of the drama
The studies at the International school of corporeal mime aims at placing the actor at the center of the theatrical creation.
