Francine Côté a une formation en théâtre physique,
clown, bouffon, jeu et plus de 25 ans d’expérience en
création de personnages comiques, physiques et
clownesques. Elle joue sur la scène internationale
(Cirques, Cabarets, Variétés, Festivals), enseigne dans
différentes écoles (École Nationale de Théâtre Canada,
École National de Cirque, École de Cirque Québec,
École de l’Humour, UQÀM….etc.) et travaille comme
formateur pour différentes compagnies (Cirque Éloise,
L’Aubergine, En Piste, etc…)
En tournée avec le Cirque du Soleil à Londres et à
Paris, c’est en 1990, que Francine rencontre son
partenaire de scène et de vie, James Keylon. C’est le
début d’une carrière internationale en duo 'Alfredo et
Adrénaline'. S’inscrivant dans la tendance du nouveau
cirque mais s’inspirant du cirque traditionnel, ces
personnages qui incarnent la bataille des sexes ont
touché des milliers de spectateurs à travers le monde.
Le duo joue au cirque : Cirque Knie (Suisse), Cirque
du Soleil/Mystère, (Las Vegas) Cirque Benneweis
(Danemark), Weihnachts Zirkus (Allemagne) dans les
Cabarets/Théâtres; Wintergarten (Berlin), Teatro
Zinzanni (Seattle, San Francisco), G.O.P. Variétés
(Hannover, Essen) , Apollo (Düsseldorf), Polygon
(Zurich), casino (Locarno), Luna Cabaret (Dortmund),
Freiderichsbau (Stuttgart), Jardin du Baron Fou
(Montréal) participe à plusieurs festivals et évènements
soit :Festival du Cirque de Monte Carlo, Festival de
Verona (Prix de Festival), Conférence G7 (Halifax),
Festival International de Variétés, Festival Clown
Barcelone.…et en 1998 reçoit, Le Prix de Charlie Rivel
'Golden Noses Award' à Copenhague.
En l’an 2000, Francine produit et dirige un spectacle
de cabaret avec quinze artistes 'Cabaret Nightclub'.
Elle élabore une formation en clown et développe une
méthode de travail et d’enseignement en art
clownesque qu’elle offre au milieu artistique.
Francine est également responsable de la direction
artistique et de la formation à Dr. Clown (organisme
de clowns/acteurs professionnels qui oeuvrent dans
les hôpitaux et résidences). Elle continue sa
collaboration avec James Keylon en offrant des
services (structure de scénario, recherche de
personnage, coaching…) aux artistes professionnels.
Francine Côté has a formation in physical theatre, clown, buffoon, play and more than 25 years of experiment in creation of comic, physical and clownesques characters. In round with the Circus of the Sun in London and Paris, it is in 1990, that Francine meets its partner of scene and life, James Keylon. It is the beginning of an international career in duet 'Alfredo and Adrénaline'. Falling under the tendency of the new circus but taking as a starting point the the traditional circus, these characters who incarnate the battle of the sexes touched thousands of spectators throughout the world. The duet plays the circus: Knie circus (Swiss), Circus of Soleil/Mystère, (Las Vegas) Circus Benneweis (Denmark), Weihnachts Zirkus (Germany) in Cabarets/Théâtres; Wintergarten (Berlin), Teatro Zinzanni (Seattle, San Francisco), G.O.P. Varieties (Hannover, Essen), Apollo (Düsseldorf), Polygon (Zurich), casino (Locarno), Luna Cabaret (Dortmund), Freiderichsbau (Stuttgart), Jardin of the Baron Fou (Montreal) takes part in several festivals and events is:Festival Circus of Monte Carlo, Festival of Verona (Price of Festival), Conférence G7 (Halifax), International Festival of Varieties, Festival Clown Barcelona... et in 1998 receives, the Price of Charlie Rivel 'Golden Noses Award' in Copenhagen. In the year 2000, produced Francine and directs a spectacle of cabaret with fifteen artists 'Nightclub Cabaret'. It works out a formation as a clown and develops a working method and of teaching in clownesque art which it offers to the artistic medium. Francine is also responsible for the artistic direction and the Dr. formation Clown (organization of professional clowns/acteurs who works in the hospitals and residences). It continues its collaboration with James Keylon by offering services (structure of scenario, search for character, coaching...) to the professional artists.
